PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the constant-temperature tapping device by bringing the temperature of mixed water close to a set temperature from the low temperature side when starting tapping. CONSTITUTION:With the fixed-temperature tapping device, an operation section 27 is previously adjusted to the low temperature side by the functioning of a controller 39, adjustment to the low temperature side of the operation section 27 by means of the controller 39 is released with the temperature rise of a molten metal flow path 3 and the controller 39 is given a safety control function when molten metal is discharged from a state that tapping is stopped for a prolonged time. Accordingly, when molten metal is discharged, molten metal cooled in a mixing chamber 4 and the molten metal flow path 3 is discharged first, water from a water flow path 2 and high-temperature molten metal supplied into the molten metal flow path 3 are mixed in the mixing chambe 4 and discharged, and mixed water slowly approaches to set temperature from the low temperature side without overshoot, thus resulting in no fear for a scald. |
