The centrifugal casting arrangement has a mould (1), which can be rotated about a vertical axis and has a device (3) for conveying the molten metal and a cover (6). Kinematically connected to the mould (1) is a rotary drive (4). At least one guide groove (7) is formed in the bottom face of the cover (6). At the side face (8) of the cover (6), the guide groove (7) is open. Arranged in the vicinity of the mould (1) is a pusher (9) directed towards the mould (1) and connected to a drive (10) for its adjustment. The centrifugal casting arrangement furthermore has a device (11) for moving the mould (1) and the cover (6) apart vertically and a device (13) for directing the cover (6) into the position in which the guide groove (7) is aligned parallel to the pusher (9). The centrifugal casting arrangement is advantageously used together with a casting wheel having a plurality of work stations and with casting machines operating in alternation and having a plurality of work stations. <IMAGE>
