THREE-DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make machining and assembly easy and lower the cost by installing a guide section in the direction of the Y-axis on both sides of the direction of the X-axis of the base and erecting movable columns along the guide sections. CONSTITUTION:On both sides, right and left sides of a base 21 two guide rails 31 and 32 are mounted that constitute guide sections in the direction of Y-axis. Angular supporting columns 41 and 42 are supported by those two gude rails with those columns freely movable along the longitudinal directions (Y-axis direction) of the guide rails 31 and 32. Both supporting columns 41 and 42 are not as in the conventional devices fixed as one body; they are entirely separated. One supporting column 41 is mounted on the guide rail 31 that is positioned exactly in such a way as to make the column 41 unmovable in the X-axis direction. With this arrangement the guide raisl can be mounted on the supporting columns, which makes the assembly easy and by which cost reduction can be made.
