PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of the motor by detecting an ambient temperature and changing the impedance of the motor through the detection. CONSTITUTION:The ambient temperature is detected through a temprature detecting means 8, and a relay 10 is operated through a control circuit 9. A changeover switch 7 is operated by means of the relay 10, only main winding 5 is connected between both terminals of a commercial AC power supply 1 when the ambient temperature is high, and main winding 5, 6 are mutually connected in series between both terminals of the commercial AC power supply 1 when the ambient temperature is low. Accordingly, the ambient temperature is detected, the torque of the motor is changed over in response to the change, the motor can correspond to load variation generated by the change of the ambient temperature, and the loss of the motor can be reduced. |
