PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent the oxidation of even a lead frame partially plated, and allow the smooth transfer thereof. CONSTITUTION:Since the cover by a frame holder 6 is opened only at the both ends thereof, a perfect N atmospheric formation is available under the frame holder 6. Therefore, even if the lead frame 1 is partially plated, the oxidation of non-plated region can be prevented. On the other hand, the frame holder 6 becomes a block body, and the thickness of a holder part 13 holding the lead frame 1 becomes much thicker than conventional. The load imposed on the lead frame is performed under its own weight without the necessity of springs as conventional. Thereby, the lower pressing surface of the holder part 13 always maintain a flat without being deformed. Accordingly, when the non-plated region of the lead frame 1 passes, it is not caught by the surface resulting in the smooth transfer of the lead frame 1. |
