The invention relates to a mouth douche having a container in which a pressurised liquid (6) is provided. Outside the container (1), an external pipe (2) with a nozzle (3) is provided which is connected via a shut-off valve (20) to an inner tube (4) which is immersed in the liquid (6) and is arranged in the container (1). The shut-off valve (20) is manually operable by a push-button (5). A rotatable clock wheel (13) can be provided so that it consecutively essentially releases and closes the flow cross-section of the liquid flowing through the inner tube (4) to the nozzle when the shut-off valve (20) is open. Such a mouth douche is of simple and space-saving design, is independent of the mains and can be easily carried by every user. <IMAGE>
