The invention relates to the propulsion and steering of mainly electric vehicles which have to be easy-rolling. It comprises a frame (1) resting on three to ten pivoting small wheels (5). In its central portion it receives a chassis (6) driven, on the one hand, in translation by means of a wheel (11) and a motor (10) and, on the other hand, in rotation by means of another motor (12) equipped with a frictional roller (13) driving a ring (3) integral with the frame (1). This vehicle may be controlled manually or by means of radio control. The most advantageous applications of the invention include the propulsion of advertising automata, industrial robots and fairground attraction vehicles. <IMAGE>
