PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision display, by storing contents of a prescribed number of discrimination result signals in every repeat cycle and displaying the focus independently of the discrimination result of the last cycle if the number of detected focus signals is preliminarily determined value or more. CONSTITUTION:A processing circuit 7 for display is provided between a processing circuit 5 and a display/controlling part 6 of the conventional and well-known detetion controlling system. This processing circuit 7 for display has a function to store (n-1)-cycle components of contents of discrimination result signals outputted from the processing circuit 5 in every repeat cycle, and the number of focus signals in n-cycle components of discrimination result signals is counted on the basis of stored past (n-1)-cycle components of discrimination results and the current discrimination result, and the focus signal is given to the display/ controlling part 6 if the number of focus signals is >=m (m<n); but if the number of focus signals is <m, the current discrimination result, namely, the discrimination result of the last cycle is given to the display/controlling part 6 as it is. |
