PURPOSE:To aim at mass production in pipe piercing, by securing a pipe upon insertion of it into a core solid mold, while shifting a cutter linearly in a cutting- plane line direction of the pipe from outside and thereby slicing off the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A core solid mold 10 is provided with a semicircular sectional notch 11 having a flat bottom 11a on the outer surface and inserted into a pipe 2 required to be pierced. The pipe 12 is closely pressed by both an upper mold 13 and a lower mold 14 so as to cause a part 12a, which is to be sliced away, to be exposed outward. The flat bottom 11a of the core solid mold 10 is set up so as to be flush with both end faces 13b and 14b of said two molds 13 and 14. Then, the notch 11 is pierced by a cutting edge 15a of a cutter 15. |
