A cannular sensor having a plurality of embedded, filamentary electrodes (3), is constructed in such a way that it is possible to pick up a large number of measured values. For this purpose, the measuring surfaces (5) of the electrodes (3) are arranged on the wall surface (7) of the cannular sensor lying one after the other in the longitudinal direction and are provided with separate, electrical connections. The cannular sensor may be advantageously used in a method for measuring polarographic PO2 for the preparation of PO2 histograms.
