摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled alloy having superior resistance to seizing, fatigue and wear under high load at high temp. and suitable especially for a sliding bearing surface of nodular graphite cast iron by dispersing a specified number of Si particles having a specified particle size in an Al matrix. CONSTITUTION:This bearing Al alloy contains 0.5-5wt% Si and at least 5 Si particles having at least 5mum particle size per 3.56X10<-2>mm.<2> cross-section, and by press-welding the alloy to a backing steel strip, a bearing material is obtd. By adding 0.1-2% Cu and/or Mg to said alloy as optional components, deterioration in the hardness at high temp. can be reduced. 0.1-1% Cr and/or Mn as well as Cu and/or Mg may be added so as to increase the effect of Cu and/or Mg, and 0.1-1% Cr may be added furthermore.
