摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the charge transfer device in which effects from clocks, phase thereof is displaced mutually by 180 deg., are offset, transient noises are removed and a signal to noise ratio is improved by connecting output gate voltage wiring to the intermediate point of an output gate electrode. CONSTITUTION:Applied voltage to the output gate electrode 6' is not applied from one ends of charge transfer devices of two series but applied from a section corresponding to the intermediate point of charge transfer devices of two series. N type diffusion regions 11', 11'' are connected by wiring. Accordingly, since resistors and capacitance are arranged symmetrically to two series viewing from a terminal VOG as shown in an equivalent circuit, the absolute value is the same and the direction of variation takes antiphase in the potential variation of V0, G-4, V0, G-2, effects having a charge detecting section deny mutually, and noise components displaying in output signals are extinguished. Consequently, a large effect improving an S/N ratio of output signals is displayed.
