PURPOSE:To control an optimum stepping motor by setting the currents which are supplied to exciting coils at the time of exciting phases (m) and (n) to different values, thereby equalizing the generated torque. CONSTITUTION:When direction signals CW/CCW from a CPU are inputted to phase exciting distributor and a step pulse is further inputted, outputs phi1-phi4 sequentially become exciting level, and the transistors of amplifiers A1-A4 are turned ON in response to the level. On the other hand, a pulse of the prescribed width is applied from a monostable multivibrator IC to a transistor Tr2. Transistors Tr1, Tr2 are turned ON for the prescribed period, and a current is flowed through a resistor R1 to the excited coils 18a-18d connected to the conducted amplifier. The exciting current varies depending upon the times for exciting the phases m and n, thereby equalizing the torque generated in a motor 18. |
