PURPOSE:To prevent the oscillation of a mirror that arises owing to clattering or the like, by providing a stopper which limits and stops the operation of the mirror by butting against the back of the mirror and a negative pressure nozzle which opens in the butted surface thereof thereby attracting and holding the mirror. CONSTITUTION:A reader-printer is so arranged that, when the same is used as a reader, a motor 5 is run reversely by an another external device to butt the bottom surface of a mirror bracket 2 against a stopper 8. A vacuum pump 10 and a nozzle 11 which opens in said butted surface through the inside of the stopper 8 are connected by means of a hose 8. The pump 10 is operated by the above-mentioned another external signal to attract the bottom surface of the mirror bracket by means of the nozzle 11, thereby holding the mirror bracket. If such vacuum attraction is used, the clattering of the mirror is prevented by the simple constitution. |
