PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement of a spiking function, by providing either a concave or a convex part on a grounding surface of a link, in a tire protecting link for a construction vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A lateral and a longitudinal cross sections of a link 2 constituting a tire protector are formed in about a lozenge and a rectangle respectively, one of external lozenge surfaces is made into a contact surface 11 with the tire and the other surface is made into a grounding surface 12. A penetrating hole 13 is provided by penetrating through the link symmetrically to a vertical plane X-X including a shorter diagonal line of the lozenge and at right angles with a vertical plane Y-Y including a longer diagonal line of the lozenge, four concave parts 14 whose cross section is semicircular conical trapezoid are provided on the grounding surface 12 so that center lines of them each are symmetric to the surfaces X-X and Y-Y and their centers are placed on every side of the rhombus. With ths constitution, the concave parts 14 display spiking function and skidding preventing performance is improved. |
