PURPOSE:To facilitate a design by simplifying structure, by fitting an annular weight over the tip of a propeller shaft side of the final stage gear case of a motor car provided with a four link suspension type rigid axle through an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:An annular weight 11 is fitted over an external circumferential part of the tip 1a of a propeller shaft side of a final gear case 1 through an annular elastic body 10, such as rubber. At this time, a weight of the weight 11 is set up at more than about 10% of the weight underneath the spring of a motor car. With this constitution, an oscillation of a main oscillation system can be damped by selecting a spring constant of the elastic body 10 and the weight of the weight 11 appropriately as the weight 11 and the elastic body 10 function as an auxiliary oscillation system to a main oscillation system consisting of the final gear case 1, a rear axle case 2 and a suspension spring 8. Thus, a beam component becomes unnecessary, structure becomes simple and the design is facilitated. |
