PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when captured images and collected sounds are output to an external device, the output sounds contain noise sounds caused by a lens operation of an imaging device.SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 includes an optical system having a focus lens 310, a zoom lens 312, and a diaphragm 316, an HDMI output terminal 105 for outputting images captured by a CCD image sensor 143 and sounds collected by a microphone unit 111 to an external recorder, and a controller 130. The controller 130 controls the switching between a moving picture priority mode and a still image priority mode in which an optical system is driven at a higher speed than that in the moving image priority mode. Further, when it is detected that the HDMI output terminal 105 is enabled to output to the external recorder, the controller 130 allows an operation unit 180 to change to a moving picture imaging mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
