PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of using an uncomplicated power receiver.SOLUTION: A wireless inductive power transfer system includes a power transmitter that inductively transfers a power to a power receiver via a transmitter coil 11 corresponding to a power receiver coil 21. In this system, a communication method includes a step 37 of transmitting first data and second data to the power transmitter, by the power receiver. The first data indicates a modulation requirement, and the second data indicates an inquiry message. The method further includes: a step 32 of receiving the first data and the second data from the power receiver, by the power transmitter; a step 34 of transmitting a response message for responding to the inquiry message by modulating a power signal according to the modulation requirement so as to transfer the response message, by the power transmitter; and a step 35 of receiving the response message by demodulating the modulated power signal that transfers the response message received from the power transmitter via the receiver coil, by the power receiver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
