Prepn, of cotton heating element involves (a) making a dispersed liquid (I) by mixing a dispersing agent in the solvent mixt. of water and ethanol, (b) composing heat- emitting conductive solution by dissolving I, water-soluble latex, graphite and surfactant in water, (c) impregnating heat emitting conductive particles into cotton stuff, (d) squeezing water out and drying it up, and (f) forming insulating layers on both sides of cotton heating element with waterdissolved latex.
