PURPOSE:To speed up check and repair in accordance with the use history of a copying machine, by providing a microcomputer for controlling copying actions, allowing it to store states of copying actions, and retaining the stored contents with a backup power supply when an external power supply is cut off. CONSTITUTION:While a power supply switch 10 is turned on, a controller 14 supplies power to a microcomputer 18, the computer 18 controls actions in accordance with prescribed procedures, and allows a storage circuit to store various kinds of information. On the other hand, a charging circuit 16 charges a chargeable power supply 20. This device 20 is a backup power supply, and even when the main power supply is cut off, information, such as paper jam, stored in the storage circuit is tetained. At the time of periodical inspection or repair of trouble, a service switch 22 is turned on to display the information contents on a display part 24 and to serve references for maintenance and repairs. |
