Rubber-elastic engine mounts with hydraulic damping have a flexible diaphragm which is exposed to the damping fluid on one side and is deformed with the rhythm of the pressure fluctuations. According to the invention, the mounts are assigned air-pressure assistance, a specific damping and, in particular, also an improvement in the acoustic qualities of the mounts being achievable by adjusting the air pressure counteracting, on the free diaphragm surface, the damping fluid.
