Packaging paper, which has antiseptic and deodorant charadteristics, was manrfd. Thus, a carcass was covered with packaging paper which was treated with p-formaledhyde, tannic acid, p-dichlorlbenzene, benzoic acid, or ZnSO4. Putrefaction lebel was checked by measuring the bolatile basic N-gas. Chest parts and livers of chickens were used as samples. Assay was as follows; proteins were precipitated and separated by treating with hyperchlorinacid. Filtered xlon. was distilled by using semi-micro-kheldahl appararus. The resulting bolatile nitrogen has was adsorbed to H2SO4, and titrated by NaOH.
