A support arrangement for scaffolding and similar structures erected from a number of scaffolding elements (19). A first supporting component (2) in the form of a base plate exhibits at least two supporting edges (6-9) projecting from the base plate and arranged opposite each other in pairs, which demarcate an interjacent space. A second supporting component (13) is connected to one of the aforementioned scaffolding elements (19) and exhibits an arched supporting element (21) with a single-curvature supporting surface (22). Said second supporting component is capable of being connected to the first supporting component with the arched supporting element introduced into said space and resting against the base plate.
