PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled support causing little blister, and superior in workability, etc., by coating a base with a resin compsn. obtd. by mixing a copolymer or a modified resin having specified unsatd. carboxylic acid or the like functional groups with an ethylene (co)polymer. CONSTITUTION:One-100pts.wt. of (B) a copolymer or a modified resin having functional groups, such as unsatd. carboxylic acid, is mixed with 100pts.wt. of (A) an ethylene homopolymer having >=0.96g/cm<3> density or a copolymer of ethylene and alpha-olefin, such as propylene or 1-butene, having 0.915-0.969/cm<3> density. The base is coated with this resin compsn. thus obtd. to form the intended support to be used for photographic printing paper. As an embodiment of the component (B), polyethylene graft polymerized with maleic anhydride, a copolymer of ethylene and methyl methacrylate, a styrene-butadiene block copolymer graft polymerized with maleic anhydride, etc. are usable. |
