Process for covering insulating panels and sheets with minerally bonded plaster

According to the current state of the art, it is not possible as yet to provide insulated surfaces with a minerally bonded plaster without considerable cost. According to the process of this application, an adherent surface for minerally bonded plaster is applied to the insulating materials known in constructional engineering. The adherent surface comprises sands of which the grain size is dimensioned such that they ensure adequate adherence for a minerally bonded plaster. The adherence of the sand on the insulating material is accomplished by chemical two-component adhesives having a high curing rate. The adherent surface can be applied both to already insulated surfaces and at the works to the insulating material prior to installation.
