PURPOSE:To permit extremely effective rapid polishing by lowering an article to be ground through descent, in the rectilinear traveling part of an endless conveyor belt which transports the filled polishing material and revolving said article, thus providing with the rectilinear traveling of the polishing material and the revolution of the article to be ground. CONSTITUTION:A polishing work machine for removing burrs and flashes which are formed on casting articles or machined parts, has each guide ring 7, 7 having a J-shaped peripheral surface 2 suitable for putting an endless conveyor belt 20 having a U-shaped section, and an introducing groove 13 is formed in concaved form on the upper edge peripheral surface part of said peripheral surface 12. The leg part 18 of the installation board 17 of a polished article biting apparatus is arranged between surrounding frames. Then, a deceleration motor 63 is started, and a work W is revolved in polishing particles 27. Since said particle 27 is transferred in the rectilinear direction by the traveling of the rectilinear traveling part 20a of the belt 20, burrs and flashes are removed by the rectilinear transfer of the particles 27 and the revolution of the work W, and the extremely effective rapid polishing can be obtained. |
