A conveyor incorporates a conveyor belt (1), which is driven and guided in a track on a beam (3). The guiding of the belt (1) on the beam (3) is accomplished by means of flanges projecting laterally inwards against the conveyor belt (1) from both sides of the beam (3), which flanges engage in the conveyor belt (1). At the deflection positions, where the belt (1) leaves the beam (3) and is guided by a driven or non-driven wheel (4), in addition to the wheel (4) there is arranged an additional guiding device (6), which engages in the belt (1). <IMAGE> |
