摘要 |
A rotary combustion engine primarily comprises a cylindrical housing in addition to a rotor with blades, injection nozzle and a steam feed nozzle. The supercharging is performed under pressure by way of a port in the side cover, whilst at the same time the exhaust gases are forced out through the outlet of the opposing cover. The cooling system comprises bores, which are so arranged that in the final stage dry steam is formed, which is led by way of a feed nozzle into the combustion chamber and in addition boosts the usual detonation pressure of the combustion gases. The rotor is cooled by an axial fan, which drives the cooling air through holes provided. The rotor which is arranged eccentrically in the housing or cylinder, is driven by means of the blades provided, the supercharging occurring in the interstices of the blades. The engine power is essentially increased by the steam supply. The engine has improved efficiency compared to known combustion engines, is smaller and lighter, quieter running with a lower fuel consumption.
