PURPOSE:To increase tensile strength and working speed by a method wherein an alloy of zinc and copper added with a very small amount of rare earth elements is employed as the electrode material. CONSTITUTION:The electrode material alloy consisting of Cu-(10-50wt%)Zn-a trace of impurities is added with 0.01-0.1wt% of rare earth elements. The added rare earth elements are one kind or mixture or oxides of two and more kinds of yttrium, samarium, Mischmetal, and the like. |
