PURPOSE:To obtain a recording image having high printing quality, by reducing the extent of charge to adjacent gate electrodes in plural rear surface gate electrodes to eliminate noise flight. CONSTITUTION:A resistance layer 11a having volume resistivity higher than that of an electrode protective layer 11 is provided between the electrodes 10 of a rear surface gate electrode adhered to a position opposed through a recording electrode and recording paper 7. By this structure, the extent of potential to adjacent electrodes is reduced and sufficient potential difference can be provided between adjacent electrodes and a magnetic ink can be flied certainly only from the necessary recording electrode.
