PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a controller of a record player and to stop a pickup accurately at a regular rest position, by counting the driving signals of the pickup to decide the working position of the pickup. CONSTITUTION:A pickup 1 is shifted linearly by a stepping motor 14 toward the radius direction of a record disk 2, and a counter circuit 151 is reset at the reference position of the pickup 1 to generate 18 control signals in response to the count number of the circuit 151. At the same time, the motor driving signal of a phase corresponding to the count number of the circuit 151 is delivered from a counter circuit 152. Then a rotating speed control signal is generated 13 by the control signal generated from the circuit 18 in response to the position of reproduction of the pickup 1. Then the disk 2 is revolved with a number of revolutions corrsponding to the reproduction position of the pickup 1. |
