PURPOSE:To enable the printing with a light weight and with an even density even at a high speed operation by providing an armature section at the rear end of a shaft section while a hammer tip section is provided at the tip thereof after the shaft section and the armature section are both made of a hollow material. CONSTITUTION:In a magnet type hammer 10, for example, designed to impact a type of a type wheel D to print by an electromagnetic energy of a magnet coil 2, a shaft section 11 and a diameter-expanding armature section 12 composing it are manufactured using a pipe or a hollow material 13 produced by working a plate material. The armature section is pressed fit into the rear of the shaft section 11 through flanges 12a and 12b and the pressed-fit joint P is fastened by welding or the like. The armature section 12 is made hollow of material serving as magnetic core. The base 15a of a hammer tip section 15 is fixed at the tip of the shaft section 11 being pressed fit into an internal hole. |
