Telephone set (TA) with an answering machine (AB) whose PROM serving as a speech memory has a multiplicity of areas which enable the reading of a text section in each case when their start-up addresses are activated, where - the PROM has a multiplicity of sections in a call recording area and in addition a multiplicity of areas in a speech recording area, - the areas form the text section memory of a speech generator, - a multiplicity of texts entered into the telephone answering machine (AB) via an input device (TR) are in each case stored as a string of binary codes in the sections, where each individual text composed of individual text sections corresponding to the binary codes is stored as a string of the binary codes in each case in its own section, and - the binary codes of this string of binary codes, when retrieved by the owner of the telephone answering machine (TA/AB) or by the owner of a different telephone set (TA') of this type, control the areas for audible output of the corresponding string of text sections. <IMAGE> |
