PURPOSE:To raise the working efficiency of harbor facilities by a method in which a wave-breaking structure having tidal wave through holes is attached to the top slab connecting the tops of steel sheet piles in such a way as to provide a sufficient bearing force, a sufficient stability, and a sufficient wave-breaking function for the revetment. CONSTITUTION:The ground 1 is excavated, steel sheet piles 2 are driven in two rows, the tops of the steel sheet piles 2 are connected with a tie rod 3, and filling soil and sand 4 are packed into the space between the piles 2. Between the tops of the steel sheet piles 2 set in two rows is fixed with a concrete top board 5 to construct a foundation. A wave-breaking structure 30 having tidal wave through holes 15 on its sea side is fixed to the upside of the top board 5. The ground on the sea side is excavated to the seabed 21 and backing soil 7 is charged to construct a double sheet pile type of wave-breaking revetment. |
