PURPOSE:To prevent separation of a sliding member by a method wherein a sealing device for the circular disk type heat accumulating body and the casing of the rotary heat exchanger is provided with the sliding part in which the sliding member of ceramic is adhered to a core member consisting of a soft structure metallic material by flame spraying. CONSTITUTION:The heat accumulating body 1, made by forming a honeycomb type ceramic member into the shape of disc, is arranged rotatably in the housing 8 of thr rotary heat exchanger 14. The sealing device 6 for preventing high- pressure air 23 from leaking into low-pressure exhaust gas 24 is provided with the sliding part 6a sliding on the heat accumulating body 1. The sliding part 6a is formed by adhering NiO+CaF2 on the core member 64 consisting of a foamable metsl by means of plasma spraying, therefore, the core member 64 follows the expansion and will never be separated even when the sliding member 65 is largely expanded thermally. |
