PURPOSE:To improve the liquid sealing properties of a terminal block by pre- inserting and forming a sealing member made of expansion material around the penetration port for leading out the electrode of a battery cover and inserting a circular pole in the penetration port. CONSTITUTION:A battery cover 1 is formed by inserting and forming an O-ring 2 around the penetration port for leading out the electrode. In addition, pole 4 formed by welding a cylindrical cast part to an assembled element 3 is inserted from the lower part of the penetration port of the battery cover 1 and is sealed by filling filler agent such as epoxy resin through the penetration port from the upper part of the cover. As a result, since the O-ring 2 is compressed and secured by the pressure generated when the battery cover 1 is molded, the pole 4 can firmly be pressed by the O-ring 2 when it is inserted and an excellent sealing effect can be obtained and the airtight failure caused by the positional inaccuracy of a sealing material can be eliminated. |
