PURPOSE:To make it possible to use the titled cartridge always at stabilized state by providing the cartridge with a means detecting the frequency of supply of members being consumed, and after detecting the prescribed frequency of supply, interrupting the supply of the members of consumption. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 is uniformly electrostatically charged by a discharger 2 and the image of an original put on an original glass platen 9 is formed on the drum 1 through a short focus optical element array 10. A latent image on the drum which is formed by charging and exposure is developed with toner by a developing machine 3. The toner image is transferred to transfer paper 12 carried by feeding means by using a transferring discharger 11 on the body side. The toner image is fixed on the transfer paper 12 by a fixing device on the downstream side of the feeding line and the transfer paper 12 is discharged to the outside of the device. A pin 28 fixed on a bevel gear 24 on the process cartridge side is abutted to a stopper 29 in accordance with the rotation of the bevel gear 24 to regulate the rotation of the bevel gear 24. Therefore, the number of times of replacement of toner cartridges can be optionally set up by selecting the number of teeth of both bevel gears 23, 24. |
