PURPOSE:To develope one component with non-magnetic toner by vibrating the point edge part of an elastic brade by the rotation of a developing roller at a high speed and by frictionally contacting toner each other and the toner with the developing roller and the elastic brade to charge the toner with triboelectricity. CONSTITUTION:When the developing roller 14 is rotated by a driving source in the same arrow direction as an image carrier 1, the edge part 15a of the brade 15 is wound into the rotational direction of the developing roller 14 or rewound repeatedly at an extremely rapid cycle to be vibrated microscopically. Even if the toner 10 is slightly solidified, the solidification is loosened and ground by said vibration. At that time, the toner 10 is frictionally charged with the elastic brade 15 or the developing roller 14, so that the toner 10 is adsorbed and adhered to the charge of an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the image carrier 1 to attain development. Even if the toner is fed unevenly, the feeding is averaged at the abutted part between the developing roller 14 and the brade 15 and the picture is prevented from uneven density. |
