PURPOSE:To make the stroke of a dot printer head constant without regulating part by a method in which plural kinds of armatures are selected, having fully flattened core-facing faces, and needle-joined inward ends bent variably in terms of amount and direction on the core-facing reference level. CONSTITUTION:Three kinds of armatures 4, (a) having fully flatted core 2-facing face, and (b) and (c) being bent slantly by 0.05mm. inwards and outwards on the facing face 8, are used. In the head, an electromagnetic coil 3 is electrically energized, the armatures 4 are attracted by the core 2, and the needle 6 is collided on a platen for printing. Since the armatures 4 are restored to home positions by an armature spring 17 and come into contact with a stopper 7 but a dispersion occurs in the interval between the facing side 8 and the core 2 due to dispersion of the plate thickness, etc., the armature 4 is selected from three kinds of armatures and assembled to control the dispersion within 0.05mm.. Clear-cut printing without difference in the density can be obtained without the need to vary mass and inertia. |
