PURPOSE:To avoid an unnecessary data from being transmitted to an address by checking the data in a memory before the data transmission and cancelling the transmission of data in an area when an error being a permissible value or over is detected. CONSTITUTION:A switch SW is changed over to the position opposite as shown in figure under the control of a system control section at normal transmission mode, a data from an original reading section 1 is transmitted directly to a data compressing section 2 to transmit the data to the address. The reading data from the reading section 1 is compressed 7 at a data storage section 5 and stored in a memory 6. In transmitting the storage data of the memory 6 at the data storage transmission mode, the data read out from the memory 6 by the control of a controller 9 is expanded by a device 7 and stored in a memory 8, and the device 7 checks the error in the data stored in the memory 6. The controller 9 counts the number of detection of errors in the data transmitted from the device 7, and when the error being a prescribed number or over is detected, no readout of memory 8 is done and the transmission of the data is cancelled. |
