PURPOSE:To obtain the low-cost homogeneous synthetic wood-like foundation material for the lacquer ware, which can be mass-produced, by adding resin powder, water and a weak acidic liquid to vegetable fibers, changing the fibers into slurry, paper-making the slurry and drying the product. CONSTITUTION:The powder of a thermoplastic resin or a thermo-setting resin or a 10-50% fine fiber resin is compounded with 90-50% vegetable fibers while being agitated in water and changed into slurry, a sizing agent or a latex liquid is added or is not added to slurry, and the weak acidic liquid is added to adjust pH. The concentration of slurry obtained is adjusted, slurry is poured into a paper-making die or the paper-making die is charged into a raw material tank, a suction pump is operated, and a paper layer is formed. The paper layer is dried sufficiently, moisture content is brought to approximately 10% or less, and the paper layer is heated and pressed and clamped by using a die, thus obtaining the desired foundation blank. |
