PURPOSE:To offer the same dynamic picture to plural users at the same time by providing plural delay devices receiving an output signal of a dynamic picture transmitting device in a video information retrieval system offering a desired dynamic picture upon request. CONSTITUTION:Each of plural terminals consists of TV receivers 130-139 and keyboards 140-149 for request. When the keyboard 140 is operated and a signal is inputted to a CPU90 via a keyboard controller 150 and the request of dynamic picture viewing of a VTR100 is detected, then the CPU90 starts the VTR100, operates an AV switcher 120 via a switch and a controller 160 so as to transmit a signal transmitted on a transmission line 170 to a TV receiver 130. On the other hand, an output of the VTR100 is transmitted sequentially to VTR110- 113 which use an endless tape having >=2min of one cycle time and the time being >=2min is required from recording to reproduction, and when the request of the same dynamic picture is given from other terminals, the output is extracted from a VTR in which the beginning of the dynamic picture is recorded. |
