PURPOSE:To reduce the difference between propagating time of both channels based on an in-plane anisotropy of the sound velocity to a degree permitted practically by adopting an even number of bending sections of each waveguide path. CONSTITUTION:Each interdigital electrode of a reed screen converter 6 is connected to a lead electrode so that a surface acoustic wave having a phase different by 180 deg. is excited to another surface wave fed to a converter 3. Further, the effective surface wave propagating distance tying both input converters is set so that the distance is equal between both channels. Thus, in inputting input signals E1, E2 to pairs of the input converters 2 an 5, and 3 and 6 of both convolvers, a convolution output signal appearing at output electrodes 4 and 7 is different for the phase respectively by 180 deg.. Thus, the output is extracted efficiently by extracting the output from both output electrodes differentially. |
