Crystallising glass solders having low coefficients of thermal expansion

Partially crystallising glass solders which are sintered at temperatures below 900 DEG C from glass powders having particle sizes of < 150 mu m and then have coefficients of thermal expansion of from -23.5 to 34.3 . 10<7> . K<-1>, whose crystallisation temperature is below 710 DEG C and whose crystal phase comprises predominantly h-quartz mixed-crystal phase, have the following composition (in % by weight): 23-44 SiO2, 20-37 Al2O3, 1.5-11 Li2O; 3-20 B2O3; 0-36 PbO; 0-1 Na2O; 0-1.5 K2O; 0-0.1 F; 0-4 TiO2; 0-3.5 MgO; 0-2 CoO.
