PURPOSE:To test all functions of facsimile transmission and reception by discriminating a test indication signal from a circuit, and reading and sending out a recording picture which is obtained by receiving and recording the following test facsimile signal as the original of an original read part to the circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal arriving from a circuit 24 is inputted to the test indication signal discriminating circuit 15 of a communication control part 3 through a circuit connection part 2, and when the circuit 15 identifies the input signal as the test indication signal, a control circuit 16 receives and records the following test facsimile FX signal and returns the indication of an operation start to respective circuits. The test FX signal is passed through a signal processing circuit 4 and a recording circuit 5 and outputted as a received record picture by a record conversion part 6. A control circuit 18 sends the indication of a reread of the record picture as the original to a recording paper feeding direction switching mechanism 7, a recording paper conveying mechanism 9, and an original selecting mechanism 11. The respective mechanisms send the received record picture to a photoelectric conversion part 13 through an original conveying mechanism 12. A video signal processing circuit 14 and the circuit 4 reads the record picture by the indication of a control circuit 17 and sends an FX signal to the circuit 24. |
