In order to be able to check and monitor the functions of the individual components of the pressure vessel and the combined action of the individual components, measurement techniques are used to detect at different points of the pressure vessel the expansions and temperatures, and moreover the prestressing of the prestressing cable, as well as the flow of coolant through the cooling system in conjunction with the inlet and outlet temperatures thereof, and the measured values of the various components are automatically compared to one another. Moreover, both the measured values and the values derived by comparison from the measured values are displayed and/or automatically recorded.
