Injectable diuretic aq. solns. of a mixt. of K canrenoate and furosemide contain no buffers and are sterilizable, stable, and physiol. compatible. H2O for injection (800mL) was placed under a N2 atmosphere. K canrenoate (10g) was dissolved in the soln. and, after adding NaOH soln., furosemide (1g) was dissolved and the pH brought to 10.8. The soln. was dild. with iL H2O, filtered, filled in 20mL ampules, and sterilized at 120oC for 20 min.
