This case comprises a plastic body 4 and a removable lid 5. It is intended to be embedded in a panel, the lid 5 being flush with the surface of the demoulded panel and the body 4 being endowed with at least one orifice 4a for the passage of conductors enclosed in a sheath 2 which is also embedded in the panel 1; the case houses, after demoulding the panel 1 and removing the lid 5, an electrical distribution member. The body 4 of the case comprises, on the inside, bushes 10 for fixing the said member and an earth terminal 12 provided with a clamping plate; it has walls which are sufficiently thick for being able to pierce therein at least one orifice 4a by milling (countersinking), the associated sheath 2 being splined (ribbed) in order to interact with the countersunk edges of the orifice 4a. The lid 5 has, on the outside, a housing 19 which houses a stud 24 for centring the lid 5 on the bottom of the mould 30 of the panel 1. <IMAGE>
