The tractor esp. for agricultural use, comprises steerable front wheels (8,9) which are driven via differential gearing (57). Adjacent to the front wheel axle (35,36), two power take-off shafts are provided. One (86,87) is driven at a speed proportional with the driving (11) speed. The speed of the other shaft (95,96) is proportional with engine speed. The two shafts may be carried in the differential housing (31), pref. in its lower portion, the housing being arranged approximately centrally between the front wheels. The two shafts may be driven via gearing (71-73; 88,90) arranged between the front axle and the engine.
