<p>The invention relates to a device of the type comprising a set of retractable reflectors. This device serves to switch optical fibres (31, 32, 33) and comprises a set of retractable refractors (1) placed at the nodes of a flat network formed of intersecting rows (21) and columns (22) and of opposing groups of fibres (31, 32) such that each fibre (31, 32) is placed in line with or parallel to a row (21) of the network and a third group of fibres (33) such that each fibre (33) is placed in line with or parallel to a column (22) of the network. Each reflector (1) is able to occupy either a position in which it reflects the light signals between a fibre (31) of the first group and a fibre (33) of the third group, or a retracted position allowing the light signals to pass between the fibres (31, 32) of two opposing groups, each fibre being associated with a convergent focusing lens system (41, 42, 43) centred on a row or a column, between the end of the fibre and the first reflector. The device is characterised in that it comprises a plurality of pairs of convervent field lens systems (51, 52) each of which is associated with one node of the diagonal (23) of the network so that one of the two lens systems (51) is centred on the column (22) passing through the said node and the other (52) is centred on the row (21) passing through the said node. <IMAGE></p> |
